YOUR FIRST

You should expect nothing but the best in care and attention from our reception staff and therapists.

Our goal is for your time with us to be the most relaxing and therapeutic you have ever experienced.

STEP ONE

MEET YOUR THERAPIST

Our reception staff will always greet you with a friendly smile and ask you to fill out our Client Intake Form. This form is where you record any medical history, past/present injuries and other physical conditions that we should be made aware. You can rest easy knowing that your therapist will take the time to consult with you on any medical issues and customize a massage that will meet your needs. ​​Our massage sessions are a full 30, 60 or 90 minutes. No cutting corners with time, you get what you pay for with us!

Helpful tips: Give yourself enough time
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment. This will give you enough time to complete your Client Intake Form and a few minutes to relax and unwind. 

STEP TWO

BEFORE YOUR SESSION BEGINS

Next, you will be led into your private sanctuary, a spa-like room where a comfortable massage table draped with a heating pad and crisp clean sheets awaits you. The room will be filled with soothing music and ambiance. We have been requested to play music ranging from Chopin to Sarah Brightman and Pink Floyd to the Grateful Dead. We have iPod docking stations, so feel free to bring your iPod with your own choice of music.

 

Your massage therapist will then leave the room and wait outside while you disrobe to your level of comfort. Some clients completely disrobe, while some will remain partially clothed. If you completely disrobe, your therapist will be able to better work your hips and legs. Once disrobed, you will lie on the massage table, under the top sheet. Your massage therapist will give you a few minutes for this process and will knock on the door to ask you if you are ready before entering the room.

Helpful tips: Ensuring relaxation
Many people just close their eyes and relax completely. Others prefer conversation during their massage session. What ever you are comfortable with, we will follow your lead. 

STEP THREE

DURING YOUR MASSAGE

You will always be draped with the top sheet during your massage. An additional blanket is available for you at your request. Your massage therapist will only uncover the part of your body they are working on, this ensures that your modesty is respected at all times.

Before beginning your massage, your therapist will ask you to let them know if at any point during the session, a technique or stroke they are using is uncomfortable. Depending on your requests and specific needs addressed at the beginning, your massage therapist will perform either a customized relaxing full-body massage or focus on the areas of your body that you have previously discussed.

Helpful tips: Communicate
To ensure your full satisfaction during your session and keep the massage as customized to your needs as possible, please let us know any feedback you may have during the session on pressure, room temperature, lighting, music… Feel free to also ask the therapist questions about massage and bodywork in general, or about the particular techniques you are receiving.

STEP FOUR

CONTINUED WELLNESS

Once your session is completed, your therapist will leave the treatment room for you to re-dress. Your therapist will wait outside the room with a cup of water and to conduct a final consultation and recommend a treatment plan.

Lastly, you will be lead to the reception area where you can finalize your session and make arrangements for your next appointment.

Helpful tips: Hydration is key,
Drinking plenty of water after your session will help flush out any toxins that were released from your muscles during the massage, ease any soreness afterwards and keep you properly hydrated
